+ dalish rift mage (*)
+ mythal's vallaslin (his eyebrows were def shaved off for the ceremony.)
+ amicable, harmonious, dutiful
- calculating, ruthless, withdrawn
- the epitome of "the path to hell is paved with good intentions," daithi makes merciless decisions in the earnest belief is he is choosing the safest option for thedas. he tends to struggle with these decisions, though, most especially when it hurts those he deeply cares for and is generally unhappy with himself as the inquisitor.
/ while very fond of the inner circle, he tends to keep distance to appear above reproach. (it's hard out here for a dalish mage.) he remains friendly, though, and is not afraid to joke now and then, either. he tends toward self deprecating and "not actually funny, just an attempt to set someone at ease" sorts of jokes.
/ the resulting combo of the above can lead to surprising moments of mercy, contrary advice, and or desperate acts for (emotional) intimacy. overall, he seems nice but is a huge asshole and can be p weird.
/ in his natural state, daithi is smth of an unwashed wildman. (he doesn't actually go shirtless in warpaint, though...) as herald, he quickly cleans up, and as inquisitor, he is extremely polished: ever in uniform, shoes, gloves, elaborate hair, etc. he is content for others, even the inner circle, to assume he is a converted andrastian and that he has otherwise abandoned his heritage.

(*) aoe with strong preference for storm magic, secondary focus in spirit and winter trees for passives/buffs. he is highly aggressive for a mage and synergizes well with warriors for tag teams and or a second mage to barrier/buff him.

inquisition choices
+ recruits all companions and completes all quests (no romances); leliana elected as divine; disbands the inquisition.
- clan lavellan perishes in wycome. (cullen's forces fail to protect the clan during restore order.)
/ champions of the just conscripts the templars. NOTE that he visited redcliffe prior to visiting therinfal. :');;
/ here lies the abyss sacrifices hawke for stroud's survival, conscripts the grey wardens.
/ wicked eyes & wicked hearts exposes florianne. saves celene, spares briala, spares gaspard. recruits florianne as spy during judgement. (left halamshiral w high court approval.)
/ what pride had wrought completes the elven rituals, allies with the sentinels, drinks from the well of sorrows.
/ trespasser chooses not to redeem solas, disbands the inquisition. (latter can be played with!)

inner circle quests
/ blackwall executed in val royeaux. rest in reese's pieces my dude.
/ cassandra discourages the seekers' reformation.
/ cole re human or spirit, can be played in either direction.
/ cullen urges cullen to stop using lyrium permanently.
/ dorian informs dorian of his father's letter but discourages the two's reunion during the meeting.
/ iron bull sacrifices the chargers.
/ josephine usually, elevates the du paraquettes but once more, either direction for memes and psls.
/ leliana hardens leliana. daithi is very dependent on leliana (to the point of anger/panic during blackwall's quest) as well as fond of her; this can lead to weird or contrary conversations. that said, i can go for either.
/ sera attempts to recruit harmond. accepts the red jennys in trespasser.
/ solas destroys the summoning stones. does not allow solas to kill the mages. see trespasser choices for more.
/ varric bianca is nice??? they hug and play wicked grace bc game approval is wild.
/ vivienne retrieves the heart of the snowy wyvern.
